Treatment Plan
Depending on the indication, we offer different treatments from our innovative Biopeeling range at Skin Improvement Beauty in Amsterdam.
Skin type: normal skin, dry skin, oily skin, combination skin
Skin problems: dull skin and lack of radiance, skin prone to acne, dark spots and brightening, oil control and visible pores, uneven complexion, dryness and dehydration, fine lines and wrinkles, firming effect.
Frequency: The treatment lasts about 60 minutes. An intensive program consisting of 1 session every 10 days. The number of sessions depends on the client’s skin type and skin problem (order of 8-10 sessions). Maintain once a month or as needed.

Are there any contraindications to this treatment?
Yes, there are contraindications to the Biopeeling treatment. We do not perform the Biopeeling treatment in the following cases:
- Melanoma
- Overactive thyroid
- During a course of acne medication based on Isotretinoin (Accutane or Roaccutane), the Bio-Peeling treatment can be performed after consultation with the doctor (about 1 year after starting the medication)
- Rosacea
- Pregnancy

How do I prepare for the treatment? What should I avoid?
- Laser treatment: avoid for 15 days before treatment and 21 days after.
- Waxing: Avoid this for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Botox: Avoid it for 10 days before and after.
- Dermafillers: Avoid for 10 days before and after.
- Dermabrasion: Avoid it for 15 days before and after.
- Microdermabrasion: Avoid it for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Dermaroller: Avoid this for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Deep chemical peels: Avoid this for 60 days before and after.
- Avoid products containing Retinol/Retinoids 15 days prior to treatment.
- After the Bio-Peeling treatment, avoid sun exposure/tanning for 10 days. If necessary, sun exposure can be safely performed using the Blue Blood Sunscreens from the Neoderma portfolio, provided you follow the instructions for use carefully.

What is the best way to treat my skin after treatment?
For deep exfoliation with optimal results, it is recommended to avoid rich-textured moisturizers 12 hours after treatment or preferably for the first five days. The skin will flake a little after the treatment, thus removing dead skin cells and making room for renewed even skin. Avoid pulling or removing these flakes to avoid scarring.
